Few metres away from Fresnedo you can find Prehistoric paintings from the Bronze Age. They are distributed in different shelters (Cochantoria, Cuesta del Paso, Abrigo del Ganado, and Collado de Trechacueva).
It is an important ensemble of about 50 schematic figures from the late Bronze Age and early Iron Age.
They were discovered by a local man from Fresnedo named Minín while shepherding with his goats around the area.
They can be reached by a steep route, which runs through goat trails, so it is advisable to travel with caution.
The starting point is Fresnedo and the round trip is about 3 hours, with medium difficulty.
